Bloodbath

Upon reaching the main gate, L'ac was overwhelmed by an uncontrollable surge of hunger for battle. The danger of imminent combat ignited the dark power within her—a formidable force she no longer wished to restrain. With a commanding gesture, she summoned a sword from the depths of the shadows, which swept across the battlefield like a sinister wave. Each movement was executed with fluid precision, her blade slicing through the air and cutting down bandits with lethal grace. The bandits crumpled to the ground as if struck by an overwhelming, invisible force. Around her, the ground darkened ominously, with shadows pooling and swirling at her feet, reveling in the unleashed fury of their wielder.

Shadow Power

A heavy silence fell over the warriors who had once fought alongside her. Aika, her face a mask of shock and confusion, watched as the woman she knew transformed before her eyes into something unrecognizable. Aika whispered to the warrior next to her, her voice barely audible over the din of battle's aftermath, "Is that really L'ac?"

The warrior, his eyes wide and voice tinged with fear, responded with a shaken nod,"I don't know this person anymore. That... that... It’s like she’s become the darkness itself." "She's too powerful," another muttered under their breath."Power like that... it’s not meant for humans," his voice carrying a note of dread.

As the chaos of battle waned and L'ac stood amidst the carnage, her face splattered with blood, the reality of her transformation sank in. The warriors exchanged glances, their expressions a complex tapestry of admiration for her prowess and deep-seated fear of what she had become.

Shadow Power

Aika finally gathered her courage, stepping forward. Her voice was firm yet carried an undercurrent of sorrow, "L'ac, what has this power done to you? We barely recognize you."

However, L'ac was lost in euphoria and did not respond. With a heavy heart, Aika signaled to the others, and one by one, they began to retreat. Their steps were slow, reluctant, each one a silent testament to the chasm that had formed between them and L'ac. They left the battlefield in a silent procession, a group shattered by the spectacle of power and the loss of a comrade to the darkness.
