Trail of Darkness
Shirro, Kurro, and Imca pushed through a mystical forest, where trees bore glowing blue leaves that shimmered faintly in the low light. They had taken this quest reluctantly, charged with finding the whereabouts of L'ac despite the dangers involved. But the news of Aika’s disappearance—and the fact that L'ac and Aika had once been their close companions—left them with no choice. They felt a duty to uncover what had truly happened. Shirro, a skilled fist fighter, led the way. Beside her, Kurro, her husband and a seasoned warrior, kept a careful eye on their surroundings, and Imca, their friend and black mage, followed close behind, sharp and watchful.

As they continued along the winding path, the eerie glow of the forest began to reveal a grim sight. Shadowy substances were scattered around the ground, swirling like dark mist. Shirro, Kurro, and Imca halted, staring at the scene before them. The dark mist seemed to be surrounding what looked like an adventurer's body. The sight sent chills down their spines, making them more cautious with each step.

Imca knelt, inspecting one of the bodies more closely. "These shadows... they match the descriptions we’ve been hearing in the rumors. The stories about L'ac. Could these be the adventurers who tried to stop her?" Upon further inspecting she noticed that the body had been impaled by a sword, but instead of a wound, shadowy mist was oozing out.

"This is definitely her doing," Shirro clenched her fists, her voice steady but laced with unease. "We might be dealing with something far more dangerous than we anticipated, but we have to stop her." Kurro stood protectively beside her, gently grasping her shoulder. "Calm down, my dear. You're right, of course, but we need to stay focused."
The thought that Aika might be among the casualties gnawed at their minds. Their worry grew heavier with each step. "We have to find Aika," Shirro said, determination tightening her voice. "We have to continue."
